This wallet was constructed with full-grain leather. Let me explain why that's so important. Leather is like a roof. You have the wood decking and then the shingles. The grain of the leather is the 25% of the top layer of the hide and is the strongest, most resistant to stains and water and has the densest tightly woven leather fibers of the leather. It's like the shingles on the roof. Without the grain, the roof will leak because the wood beneath it will resist, but not for long. The top layer of the leather also has all of the marks of the life of the cow.&&So, the low quality leather wallet companies shave off the scars so they will not have to cut around the scars and therefore save money by using almost every square inch of the hide. Exceeded Expectations

Better than I could have expected. After years of department store wallets, the switch to this wallet was fantastic. Build quality was amazing. The thick leather feels great to the touch, it reminds me of quality horse riding equipment. Naturally it doesn't have a patine just yet, but I expected this will age quite well and will last for many years

Color is outstanding. Pockets for

Color is outstanding. Pockets for credit cards, etc. are just right. Found way to make easy use of them? Use one of the credit cards to loosen the entry of the card which makes it easy to take out. Money area is great for extra bills if you don't want to use card at grocery store.
