    Beautiful Belt, Absurd Sizing

I purchased this Old Bull in a size 32, which is the size of all my belts. When I took it out of the package, I was first struck by the quality of the leather. It was truly impressive. When I tried it on, the smallest hole wasn't even close. I was truly disappointed. It was indeed stamped as a 32, but measured 37" to the center hole and 34" to the smallest. When I called, I was told that is how they size them which means I'll never own a saddleback belt until they start making a smaller size.

    Old bull belt

this best is best in class by a long way - but there used to be a much nicer one that I see Davey Munson has stopped making - it was just 1/2 " wider ..... would pay double for another one of those in each colour

    Average

Nice thick belt, but ive owned mine for maybe 5 years and only wear it once or twice a week, its cracked up pretty badly on the surface and now im embarrassed to wear it incase it gets seen, looks pretty tatty. I should have learnt my lesson after my “lifetime” wallet has cracked every single card thats been put in it and this company are not interested in helping me solve the issue. So dont believe the hype that this company and dave portray, its not genuine

    Durable and flexible

I've worn this almost everyday for 5 years. Everywhere from the branding pen to Sunday service. It's held up pliers and pistols on a daily basis. Its only gotten better with age. I've never put a lick of saddle soap or mink oil on it, maybe the occasional drop of used motor oil. Love this thing would hate to be without it.

6 years and now noticeably cracking but "normal"?

The belt has held up wonderfully for the first 5 years. The backside of the belt is now noticeably cracking even with consistent conditioning (I used Lexol which their support said clogs pores?). Their support said this is not covered under the 100 year warranty and is normal wear. The thicker belt causes bending particularly in the back which ends up cracking. It probably won't break in half anytime soon but doesn't look particularly good either. Save yourself some money and buy a thinner full grain belt unless you aren't worried about how it looks down the road. As it stands, this won't be a belt anyone is fighting over after I'm dead.
