Leather frayed within a few weeks

My belt deteriorated with heavy fraying within a few weeks of wearing it. I submitted photos to customer support and they replied links to more products to buy and said I needed to condition the leather.

Highly recommend. It was out of stock when I ordered and still got to me within 2 weeks with the cheapest shipping option. I hate cheap department store faux leather crap. You can immediately tell this is worth the money right when you open the box. Will probably not have to buy another daily belt for 20+years, seriously.

    Built to Last

I'm throughly impressed with the quality and durability of this belt. It is surely built to last a life time (or two.) I wouldn't be surprise it it was tough enough to tow a truck (have not tried). The belt fits perfectly on jeans, although it is a tight fit on my suit pant belt loops. I bought two belts, one in black and one in Chestnut. If had one suggestion for SBL, it would be to expand the colour palate of the belts to include a lighter brown colour (such as the pecan used in the 20th Anniversary Briefcase ). The Dark Coffee Brown is a great colour, but I feel an additional option is needed for folks who want a better matching colour for their light or medium brown coloured shoes.

    Beautiful Belt, Absurd Sizing

I purchased this Old Bull in a size 32, which is the size of all my belts. When I took it out of the package, I was first struck by the quality of the leather. It was truly impressive. When I tried it on, the smallest hole wasn't even close. I was truly disappointed. It was indeed stamped as a 32, but measured 37" to the center hole and 34" to the smallest. When I called, I was told that is how they size them which means I'll never own a saddleback belt until they start making a smaller size.
