    Repurposing the sleeve wallet.

Purchased this sleeve wallet to hold a flip phone. It wasn't designed for this purpose, and was a very tight fit. After days of stretching, massaging and kneading the leather like Kobe beef, it slid in. It's obvious the wallet will outlast the phone tenfold, then an amusing thought came to mind. The sleeve was bought to protect the phone, now I find myself protecting the sleeve. It is a pretty thing...

essential piece of every day carry kit

back pocket = no back pain. front pocket for travel and extra security. Do you really need to carry more than 10 cards these days anyway? Go minimal. mobile in front L, money clip and 3 keys (car house work) in front R, sleeve wallet in back R - done.

    nifty wallet

I like the size of the wallet. all my credit cards fit perfectly and it is small enough to carry in my front pocket. It does look a bit 'cheap' looking for a saddleback product but I know it is a quality product.

    Thin, substantial, quality

I wanted something I could put four or five cards into and forget about and this sleeve is perfect for that. The leather is nice and thick but the total package is still thinner than my other wallet, even when the other wallet is empty. Some of the other reviews worried me a little bit but I bought this anyway and I'm glad I did. Looks like it's made to outlast its owner. 5/5 stars

    Disappointed

I've got to give Saddleback very high marks for their service and craftsmanship, but I'm sorry to say I'm disappointed with the Tobacco leather used to make my card sleeve. Based on my buddy's older ID wallet, I was expecting nice, stiff, slick leather that would age well and take on a nice patina. Instead, this feels like it was cut from an old pair of suede tennis shoes. It's floppy, fuzzy, and unlined (rough) on the inside. I know this is a great price point, but I think just about any other sleeve would be a better buy, even at double the cost. That said, I'd gladly buy another Saddleback sleeve if it was available in the old leather. I'm happy with the company, but not this product.
