Get it... when you can...don't hesitate!
Wanted this set for a long time and kept hesitating... "It sold out again? Ugh!" If you have considered... decide now and then when it comes up for sale, buy it immediately. Even if you never play chess (or checkers - my wife destroyed me last night... who knew she was a checker savant!) the set is beautiful and can be displayed as art. Truly, you will not be sorry. If you are reading this review - I can assure you that you will value the purchase, assuming you are aware when it is up for sale. Got it for my dad for his birthday & just in time for his trip to Jamaica. Was worried it may not come before he left due to the holiday shipping delays but it did & he loves it! Despite being on back order the customer service was amazing it was received before Christmas Day means I received it 2 days after it was shipped! Amazing quality & amazing service! It’s a beautiful chess board. The leather is impeccable & the craftsmanship of the pieces are exceptional. One of my proudest gifts to anyone. Highly recommend getting this as a gift for any chess lover you know or even yourself as a show piece because it’s just that beautiful!
