    Good Product

    leather feels thinner than my saddleback side duffle, could be saddlebacks new leather. I agree with the other reviews, the side straps are pointless and get in the way, would be nice to remove them or have an option to not have them on your bag. Great size for many purposes. Overall happy with the product, constant compliments and a great add to the collection.

    Nice carry on bag !!

    I’m giving this a 5 but..... this bag needs a handle wrap !! When using the shoulder strap the carry handles get in the way ! I purchased the leather wraps from Saddlebacks site to remedy this situation. Would have been nice to have one included. Now that said... I love this bag..!!! I saw it on that show “How Its Made” The leather and craftsmanship are top notch, very happy with the purchase.

    Great carry on or weekend bag

    I have three trips under my belt with this bag. Great for up to about 5 days if you pack right. Love the buckles, love the shoulder strap. My only complaint is the short attached handles. They need to be removable, and also have a handle wrap. Just not comfortable to use them when it's fully loaded, then they become extra unnecessary weight when I do carry it with a shoulder strap.

    Incredible Value

    I've been wanting a saddleback duffel for a long time but couldn't bring myself to spend the money on the waterbag. With this, I miss out on the backpack ability, but I usually travel with my SB thin backpack anyway (another favorite). I just got the baby beast and I'm so ecstatic Saddleback had the idea of making a baby beast. It's the perfect size and punches above its weight in value. I thought it might be too small, but I was able to fit the following COMFORTABLY (please note all size medium): (4) dress shirts (2) t shirts (5) underwear and socks (1) pair of sneakers (1) suit Saddleback canvas dopp. Of course i don't have to say the construction, design, and materials are better than any other leather goods I've seen.
