    great bag

    bought this bag about a month ago and have been on three trips with it. looks great. has enough room if you pack conservatively for 4-5 days worth of clothes and a small toiletry bag. fits perfect in overhead bin. scratches easy though i will have to use some leather conditioner on it. overall well built and worth the money. last duffel ill ever buy!

    This is my five purchase from Saddleback and I think I found my favorite bag. Great weekender. Simple but well constructed. Enough room for a weekend trip. Love this bag. Don’t hesitate to purchase. You won’t be disappointed.

    First Purchase - Exceeded Expectations

    Ok after lusting after Saddleback leather products for awhile I finally pulled the trigger once I saw the Baby Beast Duffle. With an upcoming 40th Birthday trip to France in October I decided I would treat myself to the most amazing carry on bag ever! I was blown away by the speed of the free shipping. Then opening the box I was NOT disappointed- as soon as I opened the box you could smell the intoxicating leather smell. Unwrapping the paper I was astonished at the quality of this bag. The leather was thick and sturdy - the stitching / rivets were perfect - and this has the best metal hardware I have ever seen. The interior of this bag was just as amazing as the outside of it. This is a very high quality duffle bag, from what I can tell is a quality company. I highly recommend spending the money on this bag- the investment is worth it for this incredible work of art!

    Needs a longer main strap!

    I'm a huge fan of Saddleback and own a lot of their leather. The Baby Beast is great for a several day trip. The only constructive criticism i have is that the main strap needs to be just a little longer....maybe 3 inches. The leather is very flexible, but with the main strap not being long enough makes it difficult to pack enough stuff! This will have to do as I am saving up for the Beast. Leather is awesome, durability is not questioned.....just need to be able to really tug on that main strap to tighten an overstuffed bag!
