It was a gift for my son. It looks to be quality craftsmanship and durable. The leather is beautiful and the exterior has a soft finish to it. My son needs the larger, slim briefcase style. I have returned the thirteener and will be purchasing the slim.
If you are on this web site no need to explain SBL stuff is best you can buy. Have had a few different models and as tech has downsized thought this would be great. Carry a Surface Pro an IPad and various charges and cables, accessories. That’s it. Just those items packs this bag. Tough to get glasses in and out. iPad is a very tight fit in the sleeve with SP Great bag but mine will be on eBay soon for one that’s a touch bigger like the slim laptop bag perhaps
OK, so I have a lot of Saddleback stuff. They all have different uses - the original briefcase was my go-to for a very long time, but sometimes it was just too bulky for a quick trip in town or a meeting. Enter the Thriteener - which is the perfect size to keep me from overpacking and fits just the essentials in style. It’s gorgeous and totally up to the usual quality standards. I do wish the front panel was a little roomier, since the pockets inside are pretty generous but then they get constrained by that panel. But I think it will loosen up a bit with time.
Great bag, got lot of complements on it. My laptop fits in very nicely, it is secure, has just enough space for all I need to place in it. One thing I would have liked, I wished the bag was little broader. it would have fit the power chord bit more comfortably.
Perfect size for the essentials. Tobacco was my choice for the casual look. Add a Glock G26 or Sig P365, Schuyler New American Standard Bible, Bark River Aurora Knife, and Fenix tactical Flashlight... and you have a most righteous man purse. I've now been sucked into the Saddleback vortex and must have the Doctors duffle bag.
