    Saddleback Leather

Saddleback Leather. I found Saddleback leather in a search for a high quality wallet(preferably small front pocket) wallet. I purchased 2 (one is saddle color & the second in black). Both are high quality (made)pieces that not only look & smell great & but hold just enough of what you need. I am using the tobacco color one & my girlfriend is using the black one. The only other small wallet I might fall back on is the Ridge wallet (as far as size & holding cards/cash ability). The Ridge can hold 12 cards (money clip/cash strap. That being said Saddleback Leather will always win me over -both looks & quality. Customer service is very good & friendly & professional . Steven

Going on 5 Years With this Wallet

And I couldn't be happier. Buy this thing and forget about your wallet needs for the rest of your life. Sits really nice in your pocket. Light, but as functional as I need my wallet to be. $100 bills peek out at the top just enough. It softens over time but still remains still enough to hold all of my cards and cash, no matter how many or little I happen to be carrying on a particular day. According to my receipt it was once the Tobacco color, but looking at it now it has darkened significantly and settled into a really nice dark coffee color.

    Excellent wallet

I've had one of these for 9 years and it's still going. This is an excellent minimalist wallet, and when in your back pocket you don't even notice it's there. It's easy to get cards in and out. But it DID have one huge flaw, that appears to have been corrected with Dave's latest design: it was nearly impossible to get cash out when several cards were in the wallet. 9 years ago I solved this with a hobby knife and a Bic lighter, slicing open the side stitching in the exact place as the new "open" design, and melting the loose threads. Good to see Dave updated the design, especially since my hack job is starting to fray and might need a a replacement soon.

Longest lasting wallet I've ever owned

I bought one of these wallets over 10 years ago when Saddleback was still new. I was paying about $25 for a similar wallet at local stores and I was getting only about 6 months of use before replacement and this one is still good as the day I bought it.

    high hopes, poor service

I had a saddleback bag and wallet. I decided to try this product, which is sold by saddleback through amazon. The wallet immediately ripped the first day I had it. I called to see if they would honor the "100" guarantee. I was very sad to find out they were not true to their word. They said I had to contact amazon, but amazon did not make the product nor do they promote a "100 year" guarantee on all their products. I don't see why your service reps could not have helped me with a defective product I got from your company. I don't know if I will ever do business with this company again. To bad I do like you products, but now I know not to trust your guarantee.
