Read MoreA front pocket wallet is a must-have accessory for any man. This minimalist wallet was designed to be unnoticeable in the front pocket. To give it the smallest profile of any wallet like it, I designed it with the top and side unsewn so cash folds and then slides in and is easy to pull out without pulling out your whole wad. There are two card slots to stack up to 5 or 6 cards after the leather stretches. So you have one spot for cards or a fishing license behind the ID window and then space enough to slide cards in behind the ID. That's where I keep a folded up $20 bill that my wife can't find, just in case.
---Everyone knows Saddleback Leather Co is all about over-engineering, made to last. We can do this because we do not go cheap on our materials to make the best leather wallet. We only use the toughest materials we can find.
---Cashiers will compliment you on your front pocket leather wallet because we made it with full grain, so it ages way more nicely because it still has all of the pores on it. The leather will only get better looking over time.
---Instead of using a thin, shiny, pretty nylon fabric for wallet lining, we line this leather wallet with real pigskin, which is tougher than cow leather. That attached to our super tough full grain leather is how we can offer a 100-year Warranty.
---We sewed it with a marine-grade polyester continuous filament thread, which is strong and resistant. This type of thread is used to sew ship sails and parachutes because it cannot break easily. Even though it costs more than nylon thread, this kind will last much longer.
I was referred to Saddleback Leather by a friend in late 2012 when the brand new $80 front pocket Tumi wallet I purchased ripped into peaces as I tried to put my cards into it. On top of that the Tumi store by my house refused to refund my money. I have always been a firm believer in you get what you pay for and usually more $$$ means better quality but that is not the case with Saddleback Leather. At least it wasn't when I purchased this wallet in Dark Coffee 1/17/2013 for $33.00 but I see it is now $70 but even at the increased price this wallet is worth it and here is why. Simply, this wallet it bullet proof full grain leather and the marine grade stitching is the real deal. People say you can find other wallets like this for cheaper but you can't. Wallets like this don't exist. I packed this thing with every single card I had in order to stretch it out so that my money would fit easier into the center cash slot. I currently have 20 cards packed into my wallet with cash, it is bulging at every seam and not a single stitch looks like it is under any stress and there is no tearing at any edge, seam, or stitch. The best part about leather is that (imo) it looks better with age. I buy a wallet for it's quality, durability, that looks nice*. I don't buy a wallet to look pretty like a purse all the time so complaints about it "looking ugly" after break in do not effect me. It's in my pocket and it serves one function, to hold some stuff. With that being said, the Dark Coffee finish harder* is the best work I can think of to explain it's texture. It has a sheen to it, almost like a waxed car feel. My friend on the other hand bought a lighter colored one and his leather was much softer with more of a suede/velvet feel, and broke-in/stretched out a lot better than mine did. I wish there was some information like this in the description because the finish/color definitely effects the feel and break in of the wallet. My only complaint is like many others in that the center of the wallet is difficult to get cash in and out of. Even after 4 years of breaking it in and stretching it out I still have trouble getting cash in there and I periodically have to stuff the center with cards so cash slips in and out easier again. I wish they made a front pocket wallet like this one with the open face ID slot, several slots for cards, kept the middle slot, and had a money clip on the other side. Anyway, I love this wallet and I think you will too.

Just wanted to pop in and say that I've Had this wallet in Dark Coffee Brown for over two years now. I am VERY happy with it and it has been with me every single day since I got it. I currently carry 2-3 cards in each of the back pockets, another 4 behind the ID pocket and usually $15-$40 in cash. The wallet does bulk up quick when carrying cash, so if you carry a lot of ones this might not be the best choice for you. When I first bought it, the wallet was MUCH) cheaper. I could see how the price could deter someone but if you plan to use one wallet for life, I think $70 is a good investment. Over the past two years it has broken in well and I've received a lot of comments and questions about it. I work with flour which ruins almost EVERYTHING, and this has NO signs of falling apart. Stitching is very much in tact and it has a a lot of character. tl;dr: Great EDC for past two years, no signs of falling apart. Can't carry a lot of cash in it, but if you like stuff that lasts a long time it's worth the money IMO.

This is a nice wallet. It is not worth anything like $70. There are better quality and better priced options out there, all you gotta do is look a little. Other leather shops did not have the massive price increase SBK did yet the quality is still there.
