    Amazing Quality

I received my wallet today, over here in the UK. This is obviously a high quality piece, which has been well crafted, and will indeed last many years. That "new leather smell" alone is enough to tell anyone that the leather used is very high quality, and reminds me of a bygone era, when the word "Leather" itself was an indication that you were purchasing a high quality item that would last for many years, unlike today, when most "leather items" do not really deserve the name, being imported from some far off country , with the "leather" itself being very thin and low quality. Saddleback items are obviously very well made , the only problem being that I can see myself quickly becoming a "saddleback junkie", with my eye already on a passport wallet. If anyone is simply just thinking about buying a Saddleback piece, just do it, you wont regret it all. This is stuff that will last an age, and which, most likely, can be passed down through generations.

Best wallet I've ever owned - and the last one I'll ever need

I used to buy wallets every couple years. "Designer" wallets that cost more than this and were flimsy and quickly pulled apart. I threw my wallet in the trash after I got this (after taking my credit cards and cash out, of course). This wallet is extremely well built. It's sturdy and it even smells great. My wife even caught a whiff and remarked that it smelled like an old baseball glove, and she's absolutely right. New cars have nothing on new wallets (good ones, anyway). Many new wallets smell like glue and dye. Not this one. Like any good piece of leather, it needs some time to stretch out. I overloaded it a bit with all the crap from my old wallet and could barely get any cards out. After some much needed purging and a little stretching it has become my new favorite wallet, and probably the last one I'll ever buy. I HIGHLY recommend this wallet to any guy who needs one. If I had known about Saddleback when I got married I would have given these to my groomsmen. Now I'm waiting on my old bull belt from Saddleback... And I'm sure it won't be my last purchase. Now my wife wants a messenger bag from these guys!

    The only wallet you need

I got this last Christmas and it fully broke in a few months ago. This is the only wallet that I use or will ever use. Every time i take it out at a cash register people ask me about it and I get to brag about my wallet to them. It still smells like new leather and as tough as it was when I first got it. It has enough space for anything you actually need in a wallet. Cash was difficult to get in and out at first but now it slides in easily even with all of the cards that I have in the wallet.

    Amazing wallet

I love this thing. It's well-built, the leather is amazing and ages beautifully, and it's the perfect compromise between storage and volume. Only one thing that could be improved is that the leather around the ID window, particularly the "open" side you can slide the ID out of, has begun to get pretty loose from sliding cards in and out and catching on things, so my ID occasionally slides out. Still, amazing wallet I'd recommend to anyone!

    Truly a beautiful product!

I have been looking for a quality front pocket wallet for some time. I've had Wallum, EZGO, Slimline and a few others that, while they may have their applications, they are not professional looking. I am a fairly young person in a management position that is dominated mostly by people 15-20 years older than I, so looking professional is a must if I want to be taken seriously. In that regard, pulling out a wallet that looks like it was bought at the local skate shop doesn't really help with my image. That all changed with this wallet. I have had the wallet for a little over a week and I've already had a number of compliments. It's a truly beautiful product and genuinely looks like it could last 100 years. It looks great, has that amazing leather smell, but most importantly for me, it's functional. I only carry about five cards (driver's licence, two bank cards, credit card and medical info card) and a varying number of bills, and everything has its place. There are a number of people complaining about how long this wallet takes to break in. "Cards are difficult to get in/out." or "It's impossible to get bills in and out of the middle pocket." I haven't experienced this. Prior to using the wallet I removed the Saddleback business card that comes with it and just bent it back and forth about 30 times making sure that all of the stitches get a bit worked in. After that, I put all of my cards/bills in and it feels like I've had this wallet for years. At $33 this is a steal. I've paid $60-100 for wallets that don't come close to the quality that this wallet has. If you are looking for a good quality front pocket wallet, this is it. I look forward to this wallet being around for the rest of my life and the definitely won't "fight over it when I'm dead" because this thing is getting buried with me!!
