    Solution to the Cash Slot

    I wrote a previous review about the outstanding quality of the wallet. I have had the wallet for about a year and a half and I still face a problem inserting cash all the way in the wallet. I have tried a number of things, but I finally found a solution that will stand even if your wallet is filled to the brim. I cut a dowel rod that was no more than 1/8" in diameter. I stuffed it down into the bottom of the cash slot to provide a little give in the pig skin slot. Now I have no problem stuffing as much cash as I need into the slot with ease, and it goes down all the way every time.

    Breaking in nicely

    I purchased this wallet to replace a wallet that I bought about a year ago. When I bought the other one I had looked at Saddleback but the color I wanted was out of stock so I went with choice 2. The Saddleback is much higher quality and about the same price. I had a little trouble getting everything into it but it has already begun to break in. The workmanship on this is excellent and I think it is going to last for a very long time. I am very happy with this purchase and only wish that I had waited instead of buying the other wallet that I have thrown out already!

    Best Ever

    I have had this wallet for over 5 years now and it gets used every day. I have the center stuffed with medical and insurance cards along with a couple of outdoor shop.s rewards cards. DL is in the obvious location and then 3 credit cards between front and rear pockets. I have no complaints and expect it to last another 5 years or longer. Just ordered a cc wallet for my wife to carry in her purse. She'll never need another one....saving my pennies for the camera bag for retirement traveling and field use. Thanks for the great products Dave!

    Have 2, of these - quality seems to vary...

    I have 2 of these wallets. I have a black and a tobacco set. The quality between the two seems to vary. The black one is very stiff and the leather edges are solid which is very nice. The tobacco color one seems to be different in that the edges of the center slot bent and tuck under very easily. I guess this is just due to the leather being a natural thing and inconsistent? For what its work, i purchased both of these from Dave's deals. I like the tobacco color but always find myself going back to my black one as the quality of the leather is better. Craftsmanship always remains the best. I love SBL gear. I have these wallets, a medium notepad holder, 2 credit card cases, a medium wallet, a box of scraps for small projects, and will be buying 4 passport holders for the family.

    Perfect Wallet for Anyone!

    I wanted a small wallet to hold my ID, student ID, credit cards and cash. This wallet is perfect. Sometimes I prefer not to carry a purse and this is exactly what I was looking for. I can put this in my pocket and it is not noticeable, which is just what I wanted. I highly recommend this wallet!!
