Product Overview

Design
This leather wallet was built with what is called full grain leather. The grain is the most durable part of the hide and it's basically like the shingles of a roof. It ages richly and is very water resistant. But most designers or manufacturers are told to save as much money as possible making their wallets and so need to use every inch of the leather hide. Instead of cutting around the scars and blemishes and throwing 25% of the leather into the trash, the tannery shaves off the top layer with all of the scars and slight imperfections so they can use almost 100% of the hide to make leather wallets. The problem is that they shave off the shingles of your house; the toughest part of the hide. And that's why you're looking for the best leather wallet now. They become junk and fall apart in a short time (5 - 10 years).

Materials
As if our leather wasn't enough, we line our wallets with pigskin, which is tougher than the cow leather. It's how we can offer a 100-year Warranty. And then we sew it with our special German marine grade polyester thread. It's what they sew parachutes and ship sails with. If a life depends on the seams not falling apart, they use the same thread. In between the leather and pigskin is a thin layer of Radio Frequency ID (RFID) blocking material to stop thieves from scanning your wallet in a crowd and stealing your ID off of the credit cards. It happens all the time. Google it.

    THE BEST WALLET EVER!!!!!!!

Wow! I can not say enough good things about this wallet. I purchased it over 10 years ago now and I still carry it every day. I am an Automotive Technician, I work outside and I live in Tucson Arizona. Never knowing when I might have to go for a test drive, makes it necessary to carry my wallet with me at all times. This causes my wallet to be tested to the limit. I literally was purchasing a new wallet every 6 months. Due to the extreme temperature and friction of movement in my pocket as I work all day long, normal wallets would quite literally fall apart in a short time. This large extremely robust wallet from saddleback leather is still going after all these years. It is the best! I will never buy a leather product from any other company again. Next up will be a leather purse for my wife.

    Really love my new wallet.

Really love my new wallet. I am 6'7" and practice law. I sit way too much of my life. Most wallets are built incorrectly and hurt your butt / back. This wallet is EXCELLENT for hunting license, right to carry, and 6 credit cards. Again, best wallet made in my opinion. Family members will be receiving, as well as dove hunting clients. Top Quality - holds what I need and is comfortable

A very well made and comfortable wallet. It comfortably fits in the back pocket of jeans or in the front packet.

Because it is a larger wallet, the cards are two high and I am carrying 4 primary cards and 8 additional items. The overall thickness is much thinner than my older bifold (shorter) wallet.

    Loved the design, new leather

Loved the design, new leather smell and utility.
Not so impressed by the edge finish. The outer edge should be trimmed and burnished to a smooth finish with an edge coat so the pigskin lining is not visible.
