Then I married Suzette and moved into the house she owned. That little hottie bought it in 2006 for $106,000 USD, so as you can imagine it wasn’t all that fancy. But when you walked in, it was such a classy place, you’d have thought royalty lived there. People called it her Ralph Lauren home. She told me that when she traveled around the country decorating homes, rugs were the number one most important thing because they tied the whole room together and made it feel warm and inviting.

And that’s why I designed the leather desk mat for myself. I wanted my own office to look classy and I learned from Suzette that you need layers for that.
