    Rounded Leather Satchel

    I love this bag – and will love it more once it's broken in. The only change I'd shill for is to add a leather pocket on the front, as on the "Front Pocket Leather Satchel." That would be bag perfection…though it's already close to perfection.

    Wife loves her new gun bag!

    There might have been an ulterior motive here, but I bought this for my wife for a nice home for her G48, ear protection, ammo etc. I own many Saddleback bags and this one does not disappoint. Dave has been consistent with quality over the years and not changing from the superior construction of his products. I admit I love the rattle of the stainless steel and the smell of the leather. I should probably add that if you buy something nice for your wife, she can only be happy for you when ‘your new bag’ shows up a few days later. Craftsmanship is hard to come by these days and when you find it, make it your own! Keep up the great work guys!

    THE BEST SBL BAG, EVER.

    So happy Dave brought this one back. I’ve owned all sizes - the small. The large, and this one. This one is the Goldilocks. I keep coming back to it, and for good reason. It has so much functionality, can be dressed up or down, and can take a beating and still look good. It’s built to last. No matter what new designs SBL puts out, I hope they keep this one on the roster. It’s an original, it’s a classic, and it is definitely one all of my kids will fight for when I’m gone.

    Still going strong

    I ordered one of these in 2015 when it was the medium round satchel (with small and large still available). While the current iteration has a few different flourishes, it is really the same bag. Mine has kept me company for over 8 years, whether carrying my smaller iPad Pro (in Saddleback sleeve) or my Surface and all my daily goodies. Perhaps the most notable thing: the price is the same as I paid 8 years ago. I know Saddleback has undergone price increases in the past, but they are clearly trying hard in this day and age to continue shipping high quality items without passing along every economic ripple to the customer. I’ve been a customer for 10+ years and while I don’t order constantly, I’m always on the lookout for my next piece, sure that it will last.

    Great work bag (if you’re ok with small)

    My daily carry bag as an anesthesiologist, used in OR and around hospital. Won’t hold documents unless folded in half, but amazing quality and I mostly carry folded papers, pens, 1-2 water bottles, phone charger, AirPods, personal items like chap stick and medicines, occasionally some small medical equipment. Takes some tinkering to find the most comfortable strap wrap through the ring so “backpack mode” doesn’t dig into your back. Smells amazing, matches my tow belt and 2 saddleback wallets. Still a 100% satisfied saddleback customer, now saving up for the deep pocket duffel also in tobacco brown!
