The mid-18th century Gladstone closure goes right along with our design philosophy of build it for life. This bag closure comes from a time when zippers weren't a thing yet, and they needed to keep leather travel bags closed. It doesn't need to be buckled, but you can. LEATHER BRIEFCASES
The three leather briefcases with the hinged Gladstone closure are three of our best sellers. They are really defined by their size and how much you plan on carrying in your bag.
The Barrister's Briefcase was designed for lawyers. It's 17" wide and 8" deep to accomodate two 4" binders, or "redwelds", and a 17" laptop. Two laptop or tablet sleeves inside, a divider in the middle to keep things separated, and three smaller interior pockets for chargers, cables, etc. On the outside of the briefcase you have two pockets in the front with hidden pockets behind those pockets. The backside has a magazine sleeve pocket. Many men have said this is the absolute best briefcase for lawyers.
The Flight Bag, designed for pilots, is built with the same construction and design as the Barrister's, just smaller in size with fewer pockets inside. It's 15" wide and 5" deep, with ample room to hold flight documents, electronic devices, navigation tools, safety equipment, and personal items.
The 14" Front Door Briefcase is a minimalist briefcase at 14" wide and 4" deep. It holds a 14" laptop with extra room for a notebook or journal, tablet, etc. The front pocket is constructed with the hinged closure, and it's inset so it doesn't stick way out giving the briefcase a larger profile. The front door pocket comes down like a drawbridge and is just plain cool.

The Deep Pocket Duffle Bag is 20" wide, 12" tall, and 9" deep, making it the perfect size duffle to fit in the overhead bin on airplanes. This leather duffle is ideal for 3-5 days of travel; or pack for two, take your special someone on a weekend trip, and leave the suitcase at home.
The Doctor's Duffle is 16" wide, 12" tall, and 10" deep, making it our most popular overnight duffle bag. We call it the Doctor's Duffle because traditionally, this is what doctors carried all of their supplies in. But you don't have to be a doctor to own one. The two side straps are removable and can be used as a 36" emergency belt or tie down.
The Big Mouth Backpack is our largest backpack and can even be used for overnight or weekend trips. It holds a 17" laptop with plenty of room for a day or two worth of clothes.
