Leather Business Card Holder Design

I know it's just a little insignificant leather business card wallet, but there's no reason to not at least try to make it into the greatest and longest lasting leather business card holder in the world. This was our intention. &&It is so slim that it adds no bulk in suit pants when it just has 15 business cards in it. Of course, it can hold up to 6 or 7 credit cards on each side once it's been stretched out for a few days. To start, stick as many credit cards as you can in there and leave it for a couple of days. Then open stuff another one in each side and leave it. And on and on. But even in a shirt pocket, when used as a business card holder, it's barely noticeable.

The Best Leather for a Wallet

It was designed simply to attract the eyes of whoever watches you use it. The leather is full grain so it ages with a beautiful patina. Top Grain, Split or Genuine leather do not age so gracefully. This leather business card holder is meant to help you close deals. It is purposefully simple and minimal so it gets compliments and starts a conversation, whether it's used as a minimalists wallet or just to carry presentation cards. This full grain leather wallet will outlast you.

Lining

And even though it's just an insignificant little accessory that you carry everyday, we lined it with pigskin, which is equal to or a little tougher than the cowskin. And that makes it twice as strong as any full grain leather business card holder lined with some pretty and shiny nylon fabric.

Thread

I know it's just a leather business card holder, but we sewed it together with a super strong German industrial polyester thread instead of a cheaper cotton or nylon thread. It may be tougher than the leather. Since these are so popular and we sell so many of them, we could save a good amount of money by using a lesser thread and you probably wouldn't notice for a year or two, but if you're going to do something worth doing, do it right.

Stitching

I'm sure you're rolling your eyes by now, but please just read this last part. It's a very small detail that makes a whole lot of difference. We stitch our leather on this business card holder with 7 stitches in each inch instead of 9. This is important because each hole that the needle makes is actually the start of a tear. So, the further you can keep the holes apart, the less likely it is that your leather business card holder will tear like a piece of perforated paper if you should really stuff it full.

    Just too thick

I bought the business card holder years ago and after all this time trying, it has never been able to close, and lay flat. The leather is just too thick to be functional. Its real pretty, but will not stay closed nor hold many cards.

    Best Wallet I Ever Owned

I have had this for 3 years now. I use it every single day. I purchased it due to the minimalist design I was after. It has exceeded expectations and I would definitely buy again. Problem is, I won’t have to as it seems to be indestructible. Only negative is that it doesn’t hold cash, but it wasn’t designed for that, so I cannot hold it that against this wallet.

Chicks like pocket wallets too :)

I am a woman and wanted a pocket wallet for the days I don't want to carry a purse. Most pocket-sized wallets are too bulky for me (guys, how do you do it?!). I found this gem a couple of years ago, and we have been inseparable since. It is small and discreet; it doesn't make your pocket bulge, nor does it try to abandon ship and slip out. I can carry my id, a couple of cards, and some bills tucked in between. It has been on trips around the world and is perfect in that regard - no one knows I have money/cards on me unless I pull it out. As for craftsmanship - I purchased the tobacco color, and now it has a beautiful patina (closer to coffee brown) courtesy of a night on the ground in the rain (note to self - carry it in your pocket, not your hand!). I was worried it would be ruined, but some pampering with a towel and a dryer did the trick - no stretching, no warping, no weakening of the stitches. This truly is the best wallet ever.

What I wish they told me

Eli here, Had this very wallet for solid 2 years of everyday use, but what is was not told almost made me take a star away. This wallet held up to an absurd amount of cards, never broke a stitch. Fell in love with with the natural patina the leather developed over time. However, I was not told of the one weakness this wallet has. Dachshund puppies, yes, my dachshund puppy ate nearly the entire wallet before a intervened. Why was i not told this could potentially happen?

    Heavy Duty and Dependable.

I bought this in tobacco to match my small bifold wallet, in an effort to balance out my back pocket carry between cards, IDs, and cash in the bifold, while carrying my business cards and membership cards in this. The thickness complements the bifold quite well, keeping things relatively balanced posteriorly speaking. The finish has worn beautifully, and it's held up to its fair share of abuse in over two years of daily carry. If I ever thought it'd wear out, I'd be more than happy to replace it with the same, but I don't think this thing will need replacement anytime soon.
