Read MoreI know it's just a little insignificant leather business card wallet, but there's no reason to not at least try to make it into the greatest and longest lasting leather business card holder in the world. This was our intention. &&It is so slim that it adds no bulk in suit pants when it just has 15 business cards in it. Of course, it can hold up to 6 or 7 credit cards on each side once it's been stretched out for a few days. To start, stick as many credit cards as you can in there and leave it for a couple of days. Then open stuff another one in each side and leave it. And on and on. But even in a shirt pocket, when used as a business card holder, it's barely noticeable.
---It was designed simply to attract the eyes of whoever watches you use it. The leather is full grain so it ages with a beautiful patina. Top Grain, Split or Genuine leather do not age so gracefully. This leather business card holder is meant to help you close deals. It is purposefully simple and minimal so it gets compliments and starts a conversation, whether it's used as a minimalists wallet or just to carry presentation cards. This full grain leather wallet will outlast you.
---And even though it's just an insignificant little accessory that you carry everyday, we lined it with pigskin, which is equal to or a little tougher than the cowskin. And that makes it twice as strong as any full grain leather business card holder lined with some pretty and shiny nylon fabric.
---I know it's just a leather business card holder, but we sewed it together with a super strong German industrial polyester thread instead of a cheaper cotton or nylon thread. It may be tougher than the leather. Since these are so popular and we sell so many of them, we could save a good amount of money by using a lesser thread and you probably wouldn't notice for a year or two, but if you're going to do something worth doing, do it right.
---I'm sure you're rolling your eyes by now, but please just read this last part. It's a very small detail that makes a whole lot of difference. We stitch our leather on this business card holder with 7 stitches in each inch instead of 9. This is important because each hole that the needle makes is actually the start of a tear. So, the further you can keep the holes apart, the less likely it is that your leather business card holder will tear like a piece of perforated paper if you should really stuff it full.
This is just an awesome product. I have used this wallet every single day for 5 years, and it is still as solid as it was on the first day. The leather is often exposed to sharp keys in my front pocket. Although the leather has scratched a bit, it is still sturdy and looks nice. I have 4 cards on each side, and this seems to be the optimal amount. It takes a few months for the leather to break in. Could not be happier with this wallet.

Pretty awesome; and with that big coupon code SLC sent out on Apr 5 I paid pretty close to nothing for it, which makes it stoopid awesome. Replaced a binder clip on a stack of cards/cash in my front pocket. When I first got it I took four rewards cards and put two on each side of the wallet. Then I pushed as many business cards as I could manage between them, folded the wallet, put a piece of plastic on each side to protect it, then put a giant binder clip on it. I let it sit for three days, shoving a couple more cards in some time. Three days later I can easily slip my regular credit card off the stack on one side and there's even a little room for some cash. That will probably be folded and one end slipped into the pocket with the rest just hanging out in the middle of the wallet fold. I'm partial to the tobacco color products anyway, but what I did not expect and am deliriously happy about is the extra character in the grain. It is TOTALLY RAD! I don't talk like that often, but this situation calls for it. I wanted to post some pics of my wallet in use and the coloration, but I guess this review system isn't set up for it. In case the URL gets through you can see the image I wanted to post at: tinyurl.com/SLCwall

I purchased this in chestnut to compliment my saddleback medium bifold wallet. I use this on the weekends for cash, ID, and a couple of credit cards. Great for light travel. Of course, high quality and the chestnut cloring is attractive. Very simple and diminutive. Great for front jeans pocket. Expensive for a small wallet but you pay for the quality workmanship and materials.

Ordered one in basic black. It has to be equally at home with a tuxedo, as a pair of trusted blue jeans, and is. Slick, simple, functional. Slide in a few needed cards, grab your money clip and car keys, and meet life head on. Go ahead, pull the trigger. You have a hundred years.
