    compact and versatile

We are a family of 4 and travel abroad quite extensively. This wallet serves our purpose extremely well. It carries 4 passports, one small USB thumb drive, couple of SD cards, currency bills, a few blank checks, assortment of business cards, credit cards, a pen, small memo pad and boarding passes/travel documents (thanks to the two external pockets). Despite all these items, the wallet folds well and doesn't crimp the passport edges. I have been using this for about 18 months and the pockets are still tight and snug and the leather looks, feels and smells great. It is good to have something compact and versatile. I own several SB products and have yet to be disappointed with the quality and durability.

    Oh no!

A few weeks ago I purchased two (one carbon/black, one brown) of the no longer available, Passport Sleeves. They were Christmas gifts for the two men in my life who "Don't need" anything - my big brother & my boss/friend. I had wrapped the one for my brother & had it under our tree. Last night my husband came to me with a small piece of leather and scraps of wrapping paper in his hand :o The only witness to what happened to the Passport Sleeve is one of our two dogs! Neither of which have chewed - other than their own toys - a thing since they were puppies, seven and eight years ago. I'm not sure why the sleeve was discontinued. I think it's the perfect accessory; especially for someone who doesn't need to carry their passport "every day" but when they do - it looks very impressive :) It's like all of our other Saddleback items; smells wonderful, high quality and made to last - just don't put it under the tree if you have dogs!!

    Use regularly when traveling

This is my goto when I travel because it protects my passport AND holds my credit cards while also protecting the information on the credit card with it's security lining. My everyday carry when I'm not traveling though is an iPhone/wallet mashup called the BookBook. I'm hoping Dave will come out with a similar SBL product that essentially melds this passport wallet and his iPhone slip cover. That would become by everyday carry AND my travel carry.

    Not just for Passport!

Bought it in slightly older version, one without the place for banknotes. It doesn't actually matter though. I use it for daily use, having added band of elastic inside to keep notepad and wide rubber band outside to keep all of the stuff (notepad, loose papers, pen) together. I was thinking of getting Midori's Traveller's Notebook, but this is so much better! If only Dave decided to make it a little taller...

    Good, Solid Wallet

The size is a bit larger than I thought, but it fits a passport in perfectly. (If curious about the size fold a sheet of paper twice). Fits in average men's pants pocket well. Tanning is good. Leather is good. Thread is good. Simple design. It is good quality but I doubt it will last a century. This should be standard of what wallets are made like.
