Passport Wallet, Black Drawstring Backpack (6 of 10), Black Tank (1 of 10), Folios.
My recent purchase of the Slim Leather Passport Wallet was my fourth - this one for myself. I previously purchased one for my son (Navy pilot / United pilot), one for our son-in-law who travels for business and with our daughter and granddaughters; and one for my wife to be given to her in planning for our major trip. I have a craftswoman who laser engraves wood-working projects I make, so I had her laser engrave the Wallets, with each person's name. For my own, I added my firm logo. See photo. I checked out ability to put multiple passports in the Wallet. Four for our son-in-law's would be snug but doable. Two would definitely fit. I like the pockets for the Passport Card, credit cards, etc.; larger pocket behind those; and the large back pocket to hold larger paper such as currency, etc. The Wallet is larger than my normal billfold, which I usually put in my back pants pocket, so, I'm figuring out my best use for daily needs not involving carrying a passport. It would fit great in a suit coat or jacket pocket, or in my Tank. My wife prefers paper boarding pass versus iPhone pass. So the backside pocket will be great for her to slip her paper pass into - for when we get to fly to visit grand-daughters again. I previously gave her a Black Drawstring Leather Backpack (6 of 10) for her use as an airline carry-on bag and book bag as she teaches at the local university. The passport Wallet will function nicely with her carry-on Drawstring. I previously snagged 1 of 10 Black Tank for myself. I use it daily for my office brief bag. And also as my airline carry-on. My new Passport Wallet will also function nicely in conjunction with my Tank. BTW - I have a nice travel mug (Klean Kanteen) which fits perfectly in the outside pocket of the Tank - and goes through security fine with the lid off, to be refilled past security. As a daily brief bag the Tank works super. I sling it over my right shoulder on a daily carry. When going distances, like in an airline terminal trek, I use both straps and wear like a backpack. It holds my folio in the back sleeve, my MacBook Pro in the front pocket, charger cords etc in one outside pocket, my mug in the other. And much space for files. Further Cudos to Saddleback - I have purchased a number of folios and given them as corporate gifts to friends / clients, both the large and medium. Saddleback has provided consistent quality, and functionality. The recipients universally appreciated the gift and the quality of the gift. I looked for a number of years for a corporate gift for special clients, and found a high percentage of cheap quality product on the market. When I found Saddleback I knew I had found the product I wanted to put my logo on. Of course, it doesn't come cheap and I need to be judicious about how many I purchase. My favorite SBL wallet hands down.
After owning a few SBL wallets I have found my absolute favorite. I carry my wallet in my front pocket of my jeans and while it’s a tight fit, I have no problem with the slim passport wallet fitting. I have just enough space for my credit cards / ID cards, and I use the front pocket, where the picture shows the passport, for keeping my receipts for work. The middle pocket for cash let’s me put bills in without having to fold them over. I also use the back flap pocket to slide the SBL bear trap coin purse into to keep a small amount of change. The tobacco color is amazing and it arrives so soft and molds to your use quickly.
