New and Improved!
I must say, I much prefer this to the older style. It seems to be more lightweight, and I love the curved design of the card slots. I can fit more than one card in each slot, and I put stamps inside the pocket behind the coin pouch. And it is so hard these days to still find wallets that have penholder, let alone a penholder that holds more than one pen! And the RFID protection is a huge bonus. I believe I am now in possession of the mothership of all wallets. I purchased the chestnut color - it's now my new favorite color.

AFTER 6 MONTHS...
I have been looking around on saddleback website for almost a year now. I have looked at tons of youtube posts and have read the reviews over and over...I FINALY decided to pull the trigger and order the Big Leather Wallet and a belt. When the wallet arrived in the mail I was completely blown away. The craftsmanship is beyond exceptional. I travel a lot, and I needed something to hold my passport, cards travel paper work. I have a regular sized wallet that I use on a daily basis, but I think that it's going to go into retirement since I have received the Big Leather Wallet. I will have to get use to carrying a wallet in my hands and not in my back pocket, but that's a small issue. If you are like me, and you have been stalking the saddleback website for months, DON'T WAIT, buy it!!! Now that I have gotten my feet wet there will be more purchases to come. This is exactly what I've been looking for
I have been looking for a small purse (this really is a clutch not a wallet) for almost a year and when I saw the Big Wallet I knew I had found what I was looking for. It has just enough room to carry everything you need but no big pockets that just seem to fill up with extra junk when you carry around a purse. You can always throw it in a bag on those days when you need to carry more. I can fit all my cards(I have multiple cards in each slot and they still slide in and out without me being afraid they will fall out when I don't want them to), cash, pen, pencil, small note book, check book, tissues, cell phone(in the passport place), lip balm(in the coin purse, needle and thread(in the coin purse also), pictures of my kids and I am still buttoning it on the first closure. So if I have a stack of mail to take to the post office or anything else the wallet has room to accommodate it and I just use that second closure. The only thing I need is a key chain attached to the wallet and I plan to take it to a leather place to get a thin cord to run through the pencil holder so I can attach a key chain and it will be perfect for me. Of courses this wallet is beautiful, will last you a lifetime, and gather compliment from everyone who sees it but the functionality is what sold me. This isn't just a status symbol like some expensive wallets/bags. This is a quality piece that will work for you.

Wallet/clutch
I have this wallet and it is gorgeous. It goes back and forth between my purse, diaper bag and book bag. I also use it as a clutch purse when I'm making a short run to the store or out to dinner. I do wish I could attach a strap to it somehow to carry over my shoulder or as a wristlet, but I haven't figured that out yet--I just tuck it under my arm. I debated between the wallet and the small purse, and I'm very happy with the wallet. I get compliments on it when I use it as a purse or pull it out of my bag to pay for something. It's sturdy as heck, too.

Traveler
I use this for my travels. Enough space for passport, foreign currencies and all kinds of airline, hotel membership cards. It was a bit tough in the beginning but it is now working beautifully after few trips. Love it.
