Read MoreThis leather wallet was built with what is called full grain leather. The grain is the most durable part of the hide and it's basically like the shingles of a roof. It ages richly and is very water resistant. But most designers or manufacturers are told to save as much money as possible making their wallets and so need to use every inch of the leather hide. Instead of cutting around the scars and blemishes and throwing 25% of the leather into the trash, the tannery shaves off the top layer with all of the scars and slight imperfections so they can use almost 100% of the hide to make leather wallets. The problem is that they shave off the shingles of your house; the toughest part of the hide. And that's why you're looking for the best leather wallet now. They become junk and fall apart in a short time (5 - 10 years).
---As if our leather wasn't enough, we line our wallets with pigskin, which is tougher than the cow leather. It's how we can offer a 100-year Warranty. And then we sew it with our special German marine grade polyester thread. It's what they sew parachutes and ship sails with. If a life depends on the seams not falling apart, they use the same thread. In between the leather and pigskin is a thin layer of Radio Frequency ID (RFID) blocking material to stop thieves from scanning your wallet in a crowd and stealing your ID off of the credit cards. It happens all the time. Google it.
You'll never have to buy another wallet again unless you want to go smaller. The quality is amazing & for the price it's hard to beat. I always have it in my back pocket because it gets in the way when I put it in my front pocket. It holds 5 cards in each slot for a total of 20 cards. It also looks great. Color: Tobacco.

Had this wallet for about a week now & I love it. I'll try my best to update it as time goes by, but it was everything I hope it was. Got the tobacco color. It starts to change color after a few days. Becomes darker almost like a black color. I wear mostly jeans & black work pants. The leather also cracks after a few times of being in your pockets. I use it in my back pocket, it can fit in your front pocket, but it depends how big your pockets are. Love it!

Bought a iPad cover and also got a bifold large wallet 5 years ago. iPad and cover has since been passed Down within the family, and I continue to use and be extremely satisfied with my wallet. Brother noticed my wallet and asked if it was new, and he was very impressed that it was actually 5 yrs of use. You WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

I've quickly become a fan of this wallet. I bought it because it seemed convenient, but, when I got it, the first words out of my mouth were, "wow, this thing's big." And it all went uphill from there. I'll start with the "downside." My biggest, and perhaps only, complaint is that you need to be patient with breaking the card slots in. I'm lucky if I can fit two credit cards in a slot very snugly. I know this will stretch with time, but it's slightly nerve-racking when I'm at the cash register and struggle to get my card out. Heck, I completely bent (I've got a replacement in the mail) my medical card when inserting it back into the wallet in front of my doctor's assistant! Now, the positives: the wallet is convenient. Once it's broken in, I'll be able to fit at least 12 different cards (I figure 3 in each slot so as to not push it). The two hidden pockets behind the card slots are nice to hide a $20 for emergencies. I keep my emergency money in one and my business cards on the other. Given that this wallet is big, the cash pocket is also big. Rather, it's deep. This isn't a good or a bad, it's just a fact. So I fold the bills I carry in half and keep them on one side of the pocket, and use the other for business cards I've gotten and receipts. I won't even touch on the quality of the wallet, because I think it's obvious that it's a high-quality, well-built wallet. I'm sure that it's hardy and won't throw in the towel anytime soon. It's big, but it fits in my back pocket. The fact that it's large helps with it not bulging; the contents are spread horizontally, rather than vertically. If you end up using yours in your back pocket, it's inevitably going to get creases on the back, but this is nothing to fret about! I love the wallet and am sure it'll be with me for quite a bit of time.

I have a few SBL wallets; the small bifold, medium bifold, slim, (2) credit card, (3) ID, (2) sleeve and the passport, if you want to consider that a wallet. Ok, that's more than a few. But I think I know these wallets and for me this is by far their best overall. The small is great but cash just clears the top and it's kind of tight. The medium is just too thick. It's actually thicker with nothing in it than the large is with 6 cards & 10 bills (they're both tobacco, FYI). I also accumulate a lot of receipts and the pockets are the way to go for that. I swap wallets out sometimes depending on bulk but as soon as I pick up the large it feels like a million bucks. If I had to choose one, well that would be hard - the slim is great too. They're all great. But the large is king.
