Our Full Grain Leather is Key

This wallet was constructed with full-grain leather. Let me explain why that's so important. Leather is like a roof. You have the wood decking and then the shingles. The grain of the leather is the 25% of the top layer of the hide and is the strongest, most resistant to stains and water and has the densest tightly woven leather fibers of the leather. It's like the shingles on the roof. Without the grain, the roof will leak because the wood beneath it will resist, but not for long. The top layer of the leather also has all of the marks of the life of the cow.&&So, the low quality leather wallet companies shave off the scars so they will not have to cut around the scars and therefore save money by using almost every square inch of the hide. But in doing so, they shave off the longest lasting and toughest part that leather is famous for. We WANT as much grain as we can get on our leather wallets, so we cut around the scars and blemishes and throw that leather into the trash.

Just Perfect

I am the owner of an older Saddleback Tri-fold wallet with the pull and liked that wallet. However, I recently purchased the Medium Bifold wallet for me in tobacco, my nephew in chestnut and my brother-in-law in black. The length, width, ID window, and number of card slots is perfect. It is not too bulky and fits a lot. The pig skin liner is great and the stitching is impeccable plus it smells great.

Medium bifold leather wallet

I love my bifold wallet it is a nice size to have a few credit cards ,some cash and what not but not be too big and bulky. It accommodates my needs. Iso well. The craftsmanship is top notch and well made. I love it.!

Brilliant wallet

I've used this wallet for a year now and love it. It does take some time to break in due to the high quality leather but I would recommend it to anyone after a durable RFID wallet

EXCELLENT WALLET

I'm not one to leave reviews, but I can't help myself when it comes to how satisfied I am with this purchase. The quality speaks for itself, and I'd say at least half the price alone is well spent just having it to smell. The customer service was exceptional, and really appreciated Meredith who helped me with a shipping issue I was having trouble with. In today's modern world it seems you have two options. Buy something cheap that you will have to constantly replace OR buy something of quality that can last. Sure you can buy a wallet for 30 bucks that you'll replace every 3-5 years or spend that same amount of money now and be gifted with a wallet that ages with you as you develop a beautiful patina. I look forward to seeing how this Tobacco will naturally darken and become smooth. Thanks again Meredith! Go Saddleback!
