Read MoreThis medium-sized leather bifold wallet is just the right size for carrying all of your cards and cash. It has plenty of room for everything you need, and its slim design makes it easy to carry in your pocket. The leather is actually full-grain, and the stitching is top-notch. This wallet will age beautifully, and it's built to last. If you're looking for a high-quality leather wallet that will last you for the rest of your life and pass it down to the next generation, this is the one for you. Now let me tell you why this leather wallet is better than other mens bifold wallets to make shopping for your new wallet that much easier.
---This wallet was constructed with full-grain leather. Let me explain why that's so important. Leather is like a roof. You have the wood decking and then the shingles. The grain of the leather is the 25% of the top layer of the hide and is the strongest, most resistant to stains and water and has the densest tightly woven leather fibers of the leather. It's like the shingles on the roof. Without the grain, the roof will leak because the wood beneath it will resist, but not for long. The top layer of the leather also has all of the marks of the life of the cow.&&So, the low quality leather wallet companies shave off the scars so they will not have to cut around the scars and therefore save money by using almost every square inch of the hide. But in doing so, they shave off the longest lasting and toughest part that leather is famous for. We WANT as much grain as we can get on our leather wallets, so we cut around the scars and blemishes and throw that leather into the trash.
---Then, if our exceptional leather isn't enough, we use almost twice the thickness of what most other wallet manufacturers do. This makes a tougher leather wallet. Finally, if that isn't enough, instead of using glossy nylon to line the insides of our wallets, we utilize pig leather, which is tougher than cowhide. This gives it that much extra durability in our leather wallet. It's how we can give a 100-Year Warranty on a wallet.
---Furthermore, even rocks wear away over time; that's why we sew all our high-quality leather together with an equally tough and durable marine-grade polyester continuous filament German thread. In fact, this is the same type of thread used to create parachutes and ship sails because it can be depended on when lives are at stake.&&
---Yes, this is an RFID blocking wallet. There's a thin layer of Radio Frequency ID blocking materials between the leather and pigskin to keep a robber from scanning your wallet. Even from feet away, in a crowd, these crooks can be stealing your identity off your credit cards. It happens all the time, but it isn't discussed publicly. Take a look at it. That is why we feel it is essential to have an RFID blocking layer, no matter if the full grain leather wallet is in your front or back pocket. This feature should be standard when you are shopping for any new wallet.
Exceptional Quality with old world rugged style and modern RFID protection. Best of both worlds

Just got my Saddleback Medium Bifold Wallet in the mail today, and wow—it’s a beast (in the best way). The leather is thick, smells amazing, and you can tell right away it’s built to last. It’s definitely a little stiff out of the box, but that’s part of the charm. You can tell it’s going to break in beautifully with time. Holds all my cards and cash no problem, and still fits in my pocket without feeling like a brick. First impressions: absolutely worth it. Can’t wait to see how it ages. Can't believe I waited this long to make the purchase.

This will be my second one I’ve bought, first was dark coffee brown, years later and it’s aged nicely and still looks great. I went with the chestnut color this time. I could still use my first one, but I wanted a new color. I’m excited to receive it when it comes. Saddleback makes very nice and well made wallets, is eventually like to get a belt through them as well.

Wanted to wait to review this wallet until I'd had it long enough to actually comment on the quality- its been about 10 years now (give or take) and despite carrying this thing with me everywhere every day in all weather conditions, it's still good as new. No stitchings come out and every scratch has somehow buffed itself out with no effort on my part. If you're looking for a wallet you'll only have to buy once, I can't recommend this one enough

I just received my wallet a couple of hours ago, and I am beyond impressed. I live in Ireland so shipping was costly, but worth every penny. I’ve been on the hunt for a new wallet for a few months, and after looking at perhaps hundreds of wallets this was the winner, and I have no regrets. From the build quality to the aesthetic everything about this wallet is perfect. Some people hate the rough “unfinished” edges, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have no doubt this will patina beautifully. I also ordered the medium portfolio, so I’m super excited to get my hands on that! Will be recommending to all my friends.
