    Happy camper

It was my first time making a purchase and I wasn't disappointed. My guy loved his back pack and that made me the happiest just seeing the smile on his face when he saw it and smelled it. Lol. Will definitely, be purchasing again and again. Thanks you so much..

    Large Backpack

The color is perfect, the leather is thick, and it holds everything I want to carry. It is expensive and when you actually see and touch it...you’ll know why. No buyers remorse here. I’m going to have to get 2 more before I die because like the slogan says my kids WILL fight over this.

    Love the lightweight, more feminine

Love the lightweight, more feminine feel of this piece. And the 10 year warranty is definitely a plus as I load it up daily with books and supplies for teaching school.

    Unexpected Large Backpack

I should start this off with the fact that we love and have bought many saddleback products. I also love this burnt sausage color. I had ordered the medium version of this backpack (I was hoping to make it my new hiking bag, since the surplus military bag my husband had gotten me was just too heavy, despite its small size), but was sent the large. This wasn't a big enough issue for me to bother putting in the effort to return it, but the large backpack is definitely too big for hiking. It's a good size for carrying my work laptop and saddleback portfolio, so I'veused it as a work backpack the few times I've gone into the office. I'm definitely impressed with just how lightweight this bag really is and how much room it has. I admit that its light weight makes it feel less durable (like it wouldn't hold up to the task of being a kid's backpack for a whole normal school year), but that might be an unfair assessment. Maybe if the stitching were more similar to saddleback products, it would seem more substantial, even with how wonderfully light it is.... I definitely don't want to discourage the exploration and production of lighter weight products - I LOVE our waterbag, but if we take it on a trip, my husband is the only one who can wield it, so these bags are a step in the right direction to me.
