Leather Tow Belt in Kotor, Montenegro
I bought this belt back in 2013 and have worn it almost every single day since. It honestly still looks brand new. The holes don't look any more worn than what you would expect after 2 weeks of using any other new belt but I have been wearing mine now for 4+ years and it amazes me how it hasn't aged at all. I used to have to go through a "Quality" belt every year but ever since I bought the tow belt I doubt I'll need to buy another belt for the rest of my life. This belt (at least mine) is pretty stiff and didn't really wear in or soften up much but is very comfortable around my waist and holds my low rise jeans up very well throughout the day. I don't own any guns but I could see it holding up holsters or other items around my waist very well. It is a very high quality item and I recommend it to anyone who likes the idea of buying one belt for life.
This belt is the truth. This is my 2nd belt from Saddleback Leather and I have no regrets, I'm 100% satisfied. PS - My wife is asking if they make these belts for Women and the answer is... Negative: Boys Only!
I love this belt. My only belts are SBL belts because they are the best. However, in order for them to fit perfectly, we need the option of the between sizes. For example the 34 is just barely too small, and the 36 is just barely too big. Please give us 35 and other middle sizes. p.s. Hot Wife.
Ordered this belt in the Tobacco color. I accidentally went way too small on my first order. I wear 42w pants, and according to the sizing chart, I thought the 38 would be just right. It was way too small, so I sent it back and ordered a 42. It's the perfect size. I spoke with a rep and she said just to order your pant size and you'll be good. Quality is excellent, very thick and strong. I wear Levi jeans and have no issue fitting it through the loops. I'm excited to know I'll never have to buy another belt again! I had always bought the cheap ones at Walmart, but they always started breaking down eventually. I don't see that ever being an issue here.
I bought two of these belts in 2014 and have worn them constantly since then. I bought a third in August 2016 before the price increase. The lower quality of materials and construction between the 2014 belts and the 2016 belt is noticeable and disappointing. The edges of the belt are unfinished, and the holes were poorly struck. If this is your first Saddleback product, you'll probably love it. It's just not what it used to be.
