Full Grain Leather Wallets

Bank tellers compliment you on your leather wallet because it's built of nothing less than full grain leather, so it ages way more richly. However, don't be alarmed if the teller calls the bank manager to see it. Full grain does that because it still has all of the pores on it. Lesser leather wallet companies remove the pores and grain; therefore, the oil and dirt don't sink in as nicely, and the sun doesn't tan the leather.

Knowing the difference between full grain and top grain or genuine or split leather wallets is essential. A hide of leather is a lot like a roof of a house. A roof is thick, but the top layer of shingles is the strongest and most protective. The rugged "shingles" of leather is the thin layer of grain on the hide's surface. Amazing wallet

I had a Duluth Pack wallet for 25 years that I thought the kids would fight for. Never imagined that I would find a new, better one. Took the gamble on the SBL Slim Wallet because the SBL products have been amazing. Great choice. Cards fit on both sides which is slick, holding 8-10 cards in total easily. The middle section for cash I haven't fully figured out but, as I use it and it's softening, it's becoming better. It keeps the cash together (better than a clip) and I love that it is small.

This wallet is perfectly minimal.

I bought this wallet more than a year ago. I was impressed with it then, but quickly got distracted by another wallet that was great for fidgeting. I bought this same wallet for my wife, who couldn't care less about toy wallets. She stuck with this one. I used my new fidget wallet for many months, becoming less and less impressed and more aware that it was really too big and didn't fit well in my front pocket. One day, I noticed my wife's SB wallet was aging beautifully and it seemed so small and compact compared to my toy wallet. I decided to cast off the toy wallet and go back to my SB slim leather card wallet. Boy, am I glad I did! This wallet is beautifully minimal. It holds my credit card, my debit card, my 3 insurance cards, my auto insurance card, my social security card, my folding money, and my work time card. it's just right for me. It's not crammed full. I barely notice it in my left front pocket. Cards go in and out easily. The leather hugs my cards and stretches easily to accommodate the occasional gift card. It is aging beautifully and is a joy to carry and handle. It is truly perfectly minimal.

I love this wallet. It is perfect for my minimalist needs. I would like to see it offered with a small AirTag pocket on one side.

Literally the best wallet ever

I've only had this wallet for a week, but I absolutely love it! It's the perfect size for some $20s and several credit cards - all I need these days. I started off with the Slim Bifold Leather Wallet by Saddleback, but it was just too bulky for my needs. So, I gave it to my wife. But, this one I can carry in a front pocket or back pocket without even noticing it is there, Plus, with the quality of this leather, it is going to last me a very, very long time! Well done, Saddleback!
