New style stinks :/
I have an old version of this wallet that was only open on top and a new version that opens on the side. The old version was actually bigger. The new version is easier to get money out of but at the coast of smaller card pockets and the corner of the card that is above the stitching in the bottom corner is so tight do to the wallet being smaller the card sticks up on that side so it doesn’t go all the way into the pocket. Old version is way way better. Nice wallet really nice leather and construction but not so great new design.

Window WAY Too Big For These Days
Seriously, nobody, and I mean NOBODY will look at your ID without you taking it out. I own one of these, and every single thing about this wallet is magnificant EXCEPT that window. Make the window thumb-slide sized, and although I love my current wallet, I'd but a new one in a heartbeat. Then of course I'd have to give my current one to my daughter who yes, will fight my son for it when I die.

Probably my best purchase
The wallet I had before this one was an old trifold wallet that was very well worn. It was an old one my dad used. I decided to use it when I started getting more cards and cash. I definitely didn't enjoy carrying it around as it felt very bulky even though I didn't have many cards or cash at the time. I usually forgot to bring my wallet with me which did become a problem sometimes, so I decided to buy a new one. What to get I didn't know, so I just watched a bunch of YouTube and searching, until I came across Saddleback leather. I wasn't blown away especially since it was 50 bucks but I liked what they offered. So I decided to get it since I needed a new one. Once it arrived I was excited, but it only got better. When I first used it I was in love. So slim, so good. Just grab and go. Nothing to worry about. Sometimes I even forgot it was in my pocket. Now I never leave the house without my Saddleback Leather wallet. Totally worth 50 bucks. That's it, just buy it. I can't promise you'll love it like I do, but it's stuck with me for over a year and it's gonna be that way for a while.

The front pocket ID wallet
Best wallet ever owned, I'm glad I found out about saddlebacks wallets, great idea to have open the middle side to put cash very easy . I bought the black one and now Waiting to buy the tobacco one too. Thanks saddleback for making the best wallets ever.

Front Pocket ID Wallet - Loving it.
I received my Front Pocket ID wallet yesterday. I love the color, DCB and the new logo. It is very stiff of course because it is new leather. I loaded it up with a couple credit cards, an ATM card, my ID, a few insurance cards and a bit of cash. The card & cash slots are tight but I know based on other SBL wallets I own that this is a temporary inconvenience until a little break in period. I don't get the complaints about the cash slot because I own a Slim Card Wallet that has an even less restrictive cash slot configuration. I've used the Slim Card Wallet for years and have never lost a card or cash. I would imagine if three sides were sewn on the FPID wallet (old version) it would be nearly impossible to insert/remove bills unless they were folded into quarters. I'm looking forward to breaking this one in and enjoying it for many years to come.
